Niagara Falls.

 Niagara falls with rainbow
Niagara falls with rainbow approximately 8pm on Friday.

I spent the last four days enjoying Niagara Falls with my daughter L,  last weekend of the summer trip.  On Thursday we drove to the falls, a four hour car trip.  We stopped for lunch along the way.

Saturday:  Raining, we visited the Bird Kingdom to stay dry and surprise we found these beautiful birds in an indoor tropical rainforest.

Fall scene croppedSunday:  After breakfast we packed up our suitcases, paid our bill and went to say goodbye to Niagara Falls.  One last visit to Queen Victoria park,  a flower garden across from the waterfalls,  with three thousand different plants and this lovely autumn  scene.

Niagara Falls is the second largest waterfall in the world.  During the past 12,000 years,  the approximate age of the falls, the crest has moved seven miles upstream.   Have you ever visited Niagara? How was your experience?   Is it on your bucket list?

Please share.
